Infinity Edge
Infinity or negative edges utilize a water basin below the pool level to allow water to spill over the side of the pool. This gives the allusion that the pool continues out beyond the other pool walls. This a fantastic effect that creates an unbelievable outdoor experience. You will not only enjoy the look of the pool, but also the sound the overflowing water makes. The basin can be an equally enjoyable part of the outdoor space, it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the aesthetic of the water feature that the negative edge creates.
Tanning Ledges
Tanning ledges or sun shelves sit in the body of the pool at a shallower depth than the rest of the pool. Tanning ledges range from 6” to 12” and are wonderful places to place pool furniture like underwater chairs, chaises, tables, and umbrellas. It’s a very fun place for kids to hang out and also a great spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the pool.
Benches & Barstools
Under water benches can be located in almost any spot along the pool walls. They are typically 18” wide and approximately 18” below the surface of the water. Under water benches can be used as a pools deep end egress which eliminates the need for a ladder in the deep end.
Automatic Pool Cover
Automatic pool covers are an ASTM approved method of covering a pool, spa, or pool spa combo. Equipped with a key pad for safely opening and closing the pool, these covers are a fantastic way to keep the pool area safe and the pool water clean.
Slides, Diving boards, and Jumping rocks
Slides, diving boards, and jumping rocks add tons of fun to a pool area! They can be designed into most any project, but do have several building and code requirements. It is important to let Abstract know if you would like your pool to be designed for any of these features so that all of the requirements are placed into the design.
Infinite Swim Lanes
Infinite swim lanes are water return systems that create a stream of water in the pool that allow a user to get a variety of different work outs. These systems have a range of designs, some being used for water aerobics or aqua jogging and other being equipped to allow a seasoned swimmer to get an excellent workout. Abstract installs Badu Jet swim systems and can design any of their units into your next project.
In-Floor Cleaning
In-floor cleaning allows a pools floors and walls to be cleaned through pneumatic heads in the pools floor. Debris is then taken to a debris canister through the pools main drain. Abstract installs the Paramount PCC-2000. To learn more, click here
